Dear brothers in Islam, Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah.
This is to request all Muslim men – brothers, husbands, fathers, fathers-in-law and sons – to consider these two principal verses of the Glorious Qur’an and appreciate the graciousness of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’aala.
Salah (Prayer) and Sawm (Fasting) are two most important pillars of Islam. The interesting point to note is that Allah, while enjoining these obligatory acts of worship, uses a particular phrase that needs our attention, and because of which I said we must appreciate the graciousness of Allah, and of course the humane aspect of Islam.

Where has all the politeness gone?
I have noticed (usually) that some women who come to the masjid for Taraweeh prayers, are often upset! They have to shout either at the end of the Isha prayer or before the start of the Taraweeh prayers or the short breaks in between..they always find something to comment at! Why so and so has not placed the chair properly…or why are the children standing there..or why the door is not closed…etc etc! Sometimes it is simply irritating. Read the rest of this entry

At times, we become so frustrated & depressed due to certain circumstances in life that we stop living. We start disliking everyone and everything around us.
