Teaching myself how not to lose hope: Amr Kassem 1987-2013
“Think not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah as dead. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision. They rejoice in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His Bounty and rejoice for the sake of those who have not yet joined them, but are left behind (not yet martyred) that on them no fear shall come, nor shall they grieve. They rejoice in a Grace and a Bounty from Allah, and that Allah will not waste the reward of the believers.” (Ali Imran; 169-171) Read the rest of this entry
Istiqaamah is the key!
May Allah make it easy for all the Muslims around the world, Aameen. JazakaAllahu Khair Brother!
Giving brief answers to difficult questions is the hallmark of wisdom.
You might have heard people narrating their bitter experiences of they seeking some naseeha (advice) from such and such Imaam or an ‘Aalim, and having regretted later for seeking advice from such a boring person!
Some of us even stop going to the masjid should we encounter some lecturing ‘naseeha’ from an uninspiring Muslim.
The glorious Prophet Muhammad, sal-lal-laahu-alaihi-wa-sallam, is ‘uswatun hasana’, ‘the best role model’ for all Muslims.

“I am crying. Please don’t leave Me. Give Me the same love….”
An urgent reminder to ponder over! Very well written by Brother Muqeet.
May Allah reward him abundantly, Aameen. Outspoken Hijabi
“My dear Reader,
At the outset, I express My thanks to you for making Me so happy in the month of Ramadhaan, giving Me lots of kisses, holding Me to your heart most of the time, giving Me all your love and affection, reading a page here, memorizing a surah there – my happiness reached such a level that I wonder whether I was lucky to have Myself in your hand or were you so fortunate to have Me in your hand.
After finding so much care and love from you, I now weep in solitude…
Imagine that you are the apple of everyone’s eyes. All Muslims in the world like you so much. People come to you and talk to you so affectionately, they shower all their love and warmth. They even touch you with respect. They love you like anything…
…..And then, suddenly they stop coming to you, no…

I Miss You More…
I Miss You More Today Than I Did Yesterday!
No one supports me…Everyone makes me feel hopeless…They simply don’t get me…And the one person that I’m sure would have understood me, would have given me hope, would have been supportive…Is not around! Read the rest of this entry
My Wife Is Lazy And Does No Work!!!
It’s so true! One more thing is Home makers don’t get holidays! There are also women who work outside and take care of home at the same time even though they get holidays from work…they never get off from house work. A little appreciation from men would be good for their mothers, sisters, daughters, and wives.
Jazakillahu Khairan Muslimah for this post 🙂 Outspoken Hijabi
My Wife Is Lazy And Does No Work!!!
A conversation between a Husband (H) and a Psychologist (P):
P: What do you do for a living?
H: I work as an Accountant in a Bank.
P: Your Wife?
H: She doesn’t work. She’s a Housewife only.
P: Who makes breakfast for your family in the morning?
H: My Wife, because she doesn’t work.
P: At what time does your wife wake up for making breakfast?
H: She wakes up at around 5 am because she cleans the house first before making breakfast.
P: How do your kids go to school?
H: My wife takes them to school, because she doesn’t work.
P: After taking your kids to school, what does she do?
H: She goes to the market, then goes back home for cooking and laundry. You know, she doesn’t work.
P: In the…

Are You Awake?
I like to step out of my house after fajr…after the sky ‘switches on its light on a dim mode’…it seems calm. Even though it is summer, still it seems pleasant. You can say at about 5:30 am to 6 am. You can hear the birds…their sweet voices. People are opening up their shops..still most are closed. Some are going for work. And there you are…simply walking..well if you are going for grocery shopping. Then this is the best time as the supermarkets are empty. It is nice and quiet. At other times, it will be crowded that you don’t feel like entering the place! There is something about these early mornings which calls you to it every day. But yes I would like to be one of those who step out for a simple chore or two or it could even be just to look around and no tension of going back home to get ready to go to work!
